Judge Rosina Cottage told him he would serve 22 years and 227 days before he was eligible for parole, taking into account time spent on remand, according to the UK\u2019s PA Media.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmc3lps4k0005356mr3cri56m@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Zou was found guilty in March of 11 counts of rape, one count of false imprisonment, three counts of voyeurism and a number of other offenses, including the possession of extreme pornographic images and the possession of a controlled drug with intent to commit a sexual offense.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmc3lps4k0007356mm9aafxe9@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Many of his victims were \u201cunconscious and rendered defenseless\u201d after being drugged, according to prosecutors.    <\/p>\n<div data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/related-content\/instances\/cmc3lvfco000k356mwuuqio1y@published\" data-component-name=\"related-content\" class=\"related-content_without-image related-content_without-image--article\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n<p class=\"related-content_without-image__headline\">            <span class=\"related-content_without-image__title-text\" data-editable=\"content.title\">Related article<\/span>      <span class=\"related-content_without-image__headline-text\" data-editable=\"content.headline\">UK police fear serial rapist may have had more than 50 other victims as more women come forward<\/span>    <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmc3lps4k0006356mi4fio8kj@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Police and prosecutors said Zou, who also used the name \u201cPakho\u201d online, contacted students of Chinese heritage on WeChat and dating apps, inviting them to his apartments in London and China to drug and assault them. The police said he also took items from his victims, including jewelry and clothing.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmc3lps4k0008356mu1qptjf6@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            The UK\u2019s Crown Prosecution Service said Zou filmed some of the attacks using a mobile device and hidden cameras. The police said he \u201cmanipulated and drugged women in order to prey on them in the most cowardly way.\u201d    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmc3lps4k0009356m8nn9ulwx@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Zou was a PhD student at University College London.
